I’ve been a little M.I.A. recently and all for good reason… our baby boy surprised us by coming almost three weeks early!  We’re so happy that he’s here and have been adjusting to life with a newborn – days spent nursing, napping and snuggling on repeat!  More on the sweet addition to our family later but in the meantime you can see a snap of Carter Price here.

Although my hair routine tends to be pretty basic, i.e. straightened, beach waves or these days air-dryed, it’s nice to break the mold once in a while.  Enter these Jen Atkin Hair accessories from Chloe + Isabel that I came across and with which am now obsessed!

Fourth of July Inspo

Fourth of July is just two weeks away!!!  The Fourth is my favorite holiday, not only because it’s my birthday but also because I love everything the day entails.  Freedom to do whatever it is you want to do… and what I want to do is lounge at the pool, BBQ with friends and watch the fireworks while laying on a blanket in the grass.  Red, white and blue is a classic combination that can be worn all season long and in preparation for my favorite day of the year, I wanted to share my Independence Day Wish List!    See my selections for everything you need to show your patriotism this Fourth of July.

Well this pregnancy is just flying by and I can’t believe we only have six weeks until our baby boy is due!  Honestly, I feel like 2016 has been the fastest year of my life.  Which seems to have sped up even more by the fact that my due date has been moved up one week!  Crazy!  So I’ve lost a week of prepping (mentally and physically) and now I’m in overdrive trying to finish up the room, scrub the house/basically wanting to remodel, typical nesting stuff, or so I’m told.

We continued our Pacific Coast Highway Road Trip from Big Sur, through Pismo Beach, to Santa Barbara and onto Santa Monica.  Whenever possible we opted to drive along the coast even if it wasn’t the quickest route.  Who else thinks that Google Maps needs a scenic route option!?

Scott and I took some time before the baby comes to drive down the Pacific Coast Highway from San Jose to L.A.  We logged 530 miles in our rental car and made some amazing stops along the way.  The first leg from Monterey to Big Sur was one of my favorites.

California Coastal Highway Packing List

Scott and I are headed back to Cali-Cali!  We’re taking a much-needed long weekend and driving down part of the California Coastal Highway for our baby-moon.  We have a bunch of great stops scheduled and I’m so excited to get away for while to explore some different parts of The Golden State.
