I recently returned from the perfect girls’ weekend in Palm Springs, California. We went to celebrate my friend Ali’s bachelorette party and got our fill of sun, girl time and relaxation. Yet somehow I still came home feeling exhausted! (I think it may be due to that whole being 5 months pregnant thing.)

The Year We All Turned 30
Birthday Celebration, California, Denver, Fall, Family, fashion, lifestyle, Motherhood, Parenting, StyleGirlfriends are a necessity and I’ve been fortunate to have a core group of friends built in since high school, and one of those girls has been my best friend since elementary school. I also found an equally amazing group of fun-loving girls in college that I’ve continued to be close to even though we’re all scattered across the country. Since 2017 was a milestone year as most of us turned thirty, I thought it would be fun to reflect on what a great trip around the sun it was and how much I love these girls.
(The picture above is actually from the kick-off party to our wedding weekend! It was so much fun having my friends, old and “new”, together by my side for all of our wedding events. This picture was taken almost four an a half years ago and I’m happy to report that each of these women are still dear friends. I am just so grateful for my squad.)
A First-Timer’s Guide to Napa
Birthday Celebration, California, fashion, lifestyle, Style, summer, Travel GuideTo ring in my thirtieth birthday, and the birthdays of several of my best girlfriends, we planned a trip to Napa. It was my first time visiting the valley and it did not disappoint!
Pismo Beach -> L.A.
Beach, California, fashion, Maternity, Pregnancy, travel, Travel GuideWe continued our Pacific Coast Highway Road Trip from Big Sur, through Pismo Beach, to Santa Barbara and onto Santa Monica. Whenever possible we opted to drive along the coast even if it wasn’t the quickest route. Who else thinks that Google Maps needs a scenic route option!?
Monterey -> Big Sur
Beach, California, fashion, travel, Travel Guide
Scott and I took some time before the baby comes to drive down the Pacific Coast Highway from San Jose to L.A. We logged 530 miles in our rental car and made some amazing stops along the way. The first leg from Monterey to Big Sur was one of my favorites.
