We had some maternity photos taken by the talented Jennifer Oman and boy am I happy we did.  I’m so delighted with how they turned out as they will be pictures that we will cherish forever.  (And we will never forget the swarms of mosquitos that ate us alive while we took these sweet photos!)

 

The maxi dress has truly been a go-to piece during my pregnancy.  Maxi dresses are uber comfortable and perfectly compliment a baby bump!  This white keyhole dress is technically not even a maternity dress, but the flowing silhouette easily lends itself to be preggo-friendly.  I also have it in hot pink as seen here.

Rachel Pally makes a lot of great maxis that can be worn through your 9 months of maternity or anytime for that matter.  They’re made of an ultrasoft fabric that make wearing them a dream.  Check out this great empire waist, racer back version (also in black), this ruched Grecian option, and this cream caftan.

This pleated, keyhole dress is similar to my dress and is a real showstopper with it’s plunging neckline.  And how sweet and ethereal is this tiered, lace dress?!

I feel very fortunate to have had such a healthy and happy pregnancy.  I’ve really enjoyed the process and I marvel at how truly amazing our bodies are, what they can endure and how quickly they can change.  Pregnancy is quite the journey and I can’t believe our baby boy is due in just 3 weeks!  Scott and I are a combination of excitement and anxiety these days, but really we just can’t wait to meet our son.  Counting down the days…
