Well this pregnancy is just flying by and I can’t believe we only have six weeks until our baby boy is due!  Honestly, I feel like 2016 has been the fastest year of my life.  Which seems to have sped up even more by the fact that my due date has been moved up one week!  Crazy!  So I’ve lost a week of prepping (mentally and physically) and now I’m in overdrive trying to finish up the room, scrub the house/basically wanting to remodel, typical nesting stuff, or so I’m told.

I did however take time this past weekend to attend a wedding week kick-off party for two very dear friends.  We went with the happy couple to get their marriage license and celebrate afterwards since we were unable to travel for their ceremony this week… in Costa Rica.  (I have a serious case of FML since I’m at work, and not on the beach joining in on all of the festivities, but rather observing it all second-hand via Instagram due to doctor’s orders.  Unfortunately, it would have been too risky at this point in my pregnancy and with the spread of Zika … scary!)

At least I have this maxi dress to cheer me up, as it may very well be the comfiest thing I’ve ever worn.  Not really a suitable consolation but I’m trying to stay positive over here!  The jersey fabric is so cozy and the loose silhouette is very forgiving which is a big plus while in my third trimester!  Plus, the fabric really flows when you walk, which is always a plus in my book.  The keyhole neckline is a beautiful detail. This dress is basically a fashion-forward mumu and I’m perfectly okay with that.  I have it in several colors and they’re now on sale here!
