We’ve had a pretty mild winter here in Denver but there’s just something about full-on Spring!  I’m really enjoying the warm weather, longer days and love that everything is so beautiful in bloom this time of year.  Driving by these blossoming trees in my neighborhood puts a smile on my face each day!  Pink is one of my favorite colors in any shade and I’m so happy that it’s everywhere this season in nature and in fashion.

I wore this oversized blush gingham button up last year while I was pregnant and to style it post-baby, I simply tied the bottom hem in a knot.  (Easy enough in theory, but in all honesty it took me a couple of tries to get the knot to look acceptable for going out in public!)

The front-tie shirt style is everywhere right now, but it’s easy enough to use existing pieces in your wardrobe to embrace the trend.  A button up shirt is easy to convert but I’ve also found some fun front-tie options to add to your closet like this crisp white button up, this more relaxed button up that comes in white, orange, blue and pink, this chambray button up and this pink short-sleeve option.  The front-tie gives an update to a classic silhouette.

Gingham is eternally chic for Spring and I’ve also linked some of my favorite styles including a pretty tiered sleeve shirt (that’s currently in my shopping cart), a flirty flutter sleeve top, and a ruffled hem tee.

Classic white sneakers are also part of my off-duty uniform as seen on my Instagram, as are espadrilles.  I actually gave these espadrille tennis to my mom last year but they didn’t end up working for her, so I got them back!  I always try to buy gifts that I would like to receive and in this case it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly for me!  They also come in denim.  My Spring 2017 Shoe Edit also listed these fringed espadrilles in denim and a natural tone.  I’m ready for fresh footwear, white weekenders, easy espadrilles, pedi-ready sandals.. and to officially pack up my boots for the season!
