This ruffle-sleeve sweater is my new spring obsession. It is so cozy and instantly adds a bit of flare to your outfit. Ruffles are everywhere this season and this pretty pastel purple is the perfect way to tie in color to an otherwise basic outfit.
Statements tops are the current go-to for fashionistas and statement sleeves are an easy way to be on trend whether you’re out about town or in the office. My ruffle-sleeve sweater also comes in black. I’ve also linked a grey knit, an airy three-quarter sleeve blouse, a boxy short sleeve top, and a fashion-forward cold-shoulder, tie-waist shirt all with ruffle-sleeves.
I wore this pretty pastel sweater for date night with my hubby this past weekend. It was really nice to get some one-on-one time, reconnect and drink a bottle of wine without a baby on the hip. After spending some time with friends and Punch Bowl Social as seen below, we went to a cute little wine bar, MAX’s Wine Dive, in my old neighborhood as seen on my Instagram. It was just what we needed and I appreciate anywhere with wine (and prosecco) on tap!
To complete my look I paired my ruffle-sleeve sweater with my favorite distressed skinny jeans, a silk tank (similar here), cream ballet flats with contrasting trim (similar here, here and here) and my two-tone mini bag I picked up in Florence (similar here, and I really love this floral embroidered bag). And I’ve been wearing my layered lariat necklace on repeat. I love wearing multiple dainty necklaces and this necklace is an easy way to get that layered effect without the tangles. (I feel like I spend way too much time trying to unknot jewelry!) I also found a pretty similar version here.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and a happy Easter!
