These pictures were taken just this weekend and now there is snow on the ground again.  We’ve had a pretty mild winter here in Denver, but man am I ready for Spring!  We are headed to Australia in just over a month and I am seriously counting down the days until we take off!!!!  42 days and counting!  But we do have a lot of fun things going on before we are off to the Land Down Under, so I’m trying to enjoy everything as it comes and not wish time away.  

I recently picked up this cream sweater with statement sleeves which is such a great way to add a bit of interest to an otherwise basic outfit.  I love the grommeted lace-up detail on the sleeves of this knit which comes in cream and navy.  The tie-sleeve is a beautiful detail that adds an air of femininity to your outfit.  And if you’ve been paying attention to the runway shows or your Instagram feed at all, then you probably already know that ladylike details and feminine pieces are back in full force, which makes me very happy!

I’m also loving this amazing pink marled sweater from J.Crew and this nautical white and light blue striped sweater from Juicy Couture.  This black cashmere v-neck sweater also has a tie-sleeve detail and would be a great updated basic.

I wore this outfit for dinner and drinks with friends.  We grabbed some sushi and then went to El 5 for some after-dinner drinks.  It is such a beautiful restaurant, my friend and I couldn’t quit commenting on how “sexy” the vibe was!  LOL  They also have really yummy tapas.  So do yourself a favor and go to El 5 for tasty drinks, food and a great view of the city since it’s located on the 5th floor.  I’m in love with this place!
