The trend of styling a dress over jeans is perfect for days when you just can’t seem to figure out what to wear to be comfortable in the in-between spring temperatures.  I’m always cold and wearing basic skinny jeans under this printed off-the-shoulder dress proved just about perfect to keep me warm while out and about.

Doesn’t it seem like the off-the-shoulder trend is relatively new???  Well I realized, I wore this dress in Italy just over a year and a half ago and again on our babymoon down the PCH last Spring.  Time flies when you’re having fun… and really flies when you’re having kids!!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, shoulder baring tops are a trend I definitely promote trying.  Off-the-shoulder styles show just the right amount of skin and give a very feminine feel to your ensemble.  As a big fan of the modern neckline, I currently have this sunny maxi dress in my shopping cart!  If you’re ready to try the trend check out this eyelet mini which would look great on it’s own or over denim and this classic chambray dress which would be great for Memorial Day weekend over white skinny jeans.   Or double-up on the spring trends with this gingham off-the-shoulder dress with tiered, bell sleeves!

For a pair of jeans that’s easy to pair with breezy, spring dresses check out these light-washed cropped skinnies for a relaxed vibe, or this dark pair to dress it up.  And if you’re looking for a classic espadrille wedge check out my Stuart Weitzman’s or this similar neutral leather pair .  I have the shorter version, which are seriously so comfortable!

Have fun navigating the spring trends and fluctuating temperatures.  I hope everyone has a great MDW!!!
