We took the baby on his first flight to Arizona!  We decided to visit Scott’s family in Phoenix and thought that the short 1 hour and 10 minute flight was perfect for Carter’s first aerial adventure.  Luckily he did great on the plane to and from Arizona, especially for being just 8 weeks old!

While in Phoenix we had a nice, relaxing time visiting with family, lounging by the pool and even a nice adult outing along the Phoenix Ale Trail,  a fun beer crawl, that we enjoyed while grandma and grandpa spent some QT with our cutie.

Even though it’s September, it’s still high-90’s and 100 degree temperatures in Phoenix so a sun dress, sun hat and tennies were the perfect combo for the heat.  I picked up these classic Chuck Taylors and have been wearing them on repeat.

I love that tennis shoes have made a comeback and can be worn with nicer outfits, especially dresses since they are my go-to in warmer weather.  And since I’m frequently bouncing a baby these days, I’ve been appreciating more practical shoes.
