Heavy Metal – A Statement Necklace

Denim, Denver, fashion, Jewelry, lifestyle

Although my day to day accessory routine tends to be pretty simplistic and based around delicate, gold jewelry, it’s always fun to break out of the (jewelry) box.

Queue:  The Statement Necklace.

The Erin Necklace from Mirina Collections is the crème de la crème of statement necklaces.  It’s a beautifully handcrafted metal and crystal necklace that is sure to grab the attention of passersby.  The tiered collar really sparkles and adds a substantial element to an otherwise basic outfit – blue jeans and a camel top.  The perfect mixture of laidback luxe for a sunny Saturday.

The great thing about jewelry is it can be worn all year long and it instantly adds moxie to an outfit.  It may be the boldest piece of jewelry I own, but I’ll be sure to pair this necklace over and over again.

Plus I love displaying it with my other treasures on the black velvet necklace rack that Scott bought me for Christmas!  Adornment and home décor all wrapped up in one statement necklace.

The weather this weekend was absolutely beautiful.  So nice that I could actually go without a coat and swap my boots for my favorite metallic d’orsay flats.  Sixty degrees and sunny, sign me up!  I’m already counting down the days until summer!
