We had a weekend full of birthday celebrations!  One of those parties was for a good friend’s 30th birthday, so we wined and dined at Elway’s.

This high-neck halter Blumarine dress was perfect for the occasion.  I’m a sucker for a bright summer dress, and this graphic zebra pattern delivered.  The orchid and turquoise make for a great color combination.  I love how the top layer of chiffon caught in the wind as I moved.  I couldn’t help but twirl the vibrant skirt throughout the night.  And can we talk about how amazing this belt is?!? The brightly embellished purple suede sash really added that extra oomph to the ensemble.

Since the dress is loud, I kept accessories and footwear simple.

It’s always fun to celebrate milestones with your family and friends.  Marking special occasions, especially birthdays, is actually one of my favorite things to do.  Hope everyone had as special of a weekend and here’s to a week to match!
