I bought this dress in Milan when I studied abroad, and thought the Fourth of July weekend was the perfect time to bring it out again!  The blue and white stripes are very patriotic, so I thought it only fitting for the holiday weekend.  The dress is a comfortable cotton material and has a cowl neck for added interest.  I paired it with my tried-and-true orangish-red bag to complete the red, white and blue palette.

My best friend from college planned a surprise visit for my birthday over the holiday weekend!  She and my husband were in cahoots so everything was planned out perfectly.  On Friday night we started the celebration with dinner, drinks and old friends in the Riverfront Park neighborhood.  The rest of the weekend was filled with sunshine, brews, fireworks and the giggles.  I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday and feel very blessed for all of my friends and family.  Lots of love and thanks to everyone who made it special!
