We’ve had company for the past several weeks and it’s always fun to show guests around our area of town.

When one of my husband’s best friends came to visit, we started the weekend off with a stroll in Lowry followed by a causal dinner with plenty of vino.  It’s always great to catch up with old friends in a laid-back setting with lots of tasty food and drink options.

The beautiful building featured in these pictures used to be the barracks when Lowry was an air force base.  Aren’t the architectural details gorgeous?!  I love the gargoyles!

I wore a bright red miniskirt with floral lace stripes.  It’s feminine and somewhat all-American with the mini flower appliqués.   I paired the girlish skirt with a white t-shirt with a touch of sparkle to dress the outfit down just a bit, and I added flat, criss-cross sandals and my trusty Michael Kors cross-body bag to compliment the easy-going summertime outfit.
