On Saturday we headed to dinner for my mother’s 60th birthday party.  We’ve been celebrating all week, since it is a milestone year!  We had a table for twelve at Carmine’s on Penn – a family-style neighborhood restaurant with some of the very best Italian food in town.  My family celebrates a majority of our special occasions at Carmine’s.  We even had the rehearsal dinner for our wedding there!  (Menu recommendations include the spinach salad followed by strozzapreti and cannolis for dessert.)

This green off the shoulder top  is a fun and easy piece to pair. The off the shoulder neckline and flowy bodice make it very comfortable and the ruffle adds the perfect amount of volume.  I plan to pair it with shorts in various colors and different shades of denim, including white.  And although my husband asked me if we were going to a fiesta, the shirt was a hit with the ladies!

For my mother’s birthday party I styled it with beach waves, stone-washed denim, a tan cross-body and nude lace up sandals.
