Monochromatic dressing is a great way to throw an outfit together and instantly look polished.  Black on black is the most common combination for monochrome outfits – and a staple in my wardrobe during the winter.  It’s a very sleek approach to dressing and works well for layering.  Sticking to one color creates a cohesive look and can work in any shade.

All white is conversely my warm-weather single-color essential.  All the better if I have a tan!

But summer months, call for color and for work this week I stuck to blue.  I grabbed a royal blue wrap dress and paired it with a blue House of Harlow necklace and House of Harlow bracelet.  Perfectly paired in a primary pigment.  (And since I didn’t want to look like a smurf, I went with neutral wedges and a tan bag.)
